This new prospecting application lodged by Autumn Skies Trading 455 cc follows a mere 18 days after the same applicant lodged an application on other parts of Koesterfontein 45 IQ. Despite holding a public meeting with affected landowners and interested parties on the 1st of September 2011 (6 days ago) at the Magaliesburg Hotel, the applicant Mr Werner Harms of Autumn Skies Trading 455 cc failed to disclose to those present of his intention to lodge additional applications on the same lands despite the same affected landowners being present at the meeting. The consultant in both applications is Mr Andre Richter from Future Mining Consultants, Mr Richter worked 18 years for the Department of Minerals and Energy and his company slogan is Where Others Run We Prevail !!! which hardly leaves any landowners feeling very confident.

These two applications follow hot on the heels of a prospecting license already granted to African Nickel who has been actively prospecting in the Golden Valley area behind the town of Magaliesburg (see map).

The Notice delivered to landowners on the 6th of September 2011 follows:

You/your concern is hereby invited to a public meeting on Thursday the 15th of September 2011 at Magaliesburg Hotel at 17h00, All affected parties are welcome to attend, The Invasive prospecting methods are, apart from non-invasive prospecting methods, confined to borehole drilling and do not include any bulk sampling or trenching.
